Delivery Fleet

Sometimes the most important spec on a piece of metal is the time you need it delivered. We run our own full-service delivery fleet:

• 10 full-time drivers
• 12 trucks
• 16 trailers plus 1 variable length 65' trailer
• GPS tracking
• 150 mile delivery radius with stops as far north as Jacksonville/Southern Georgia and as far south as Miami

Fuel Surcharge

Tampa Bay Steel has implemented a fuel surcharge to be billed as a separate line item on each invoice, based on shipping weight. In an attempt to keep the plan simple and fair, we viewed our delivery zone as one equal zone, rather than creating regional shipping lines.  As a result, we are asking that all delivery customers pay the same low surcharge based on their delivered weight.

The fuel surcharge plan will be based on the National U.S. Average On-Highway Diesel Fuel Prices which is updated each Monday.  Tampa Bay Steel’s diesel fuel surcharge will be updated at the beginning of each month, based on the last Monday of the previous month.
